Patient Stories

The following stories are from real ADC patients who have agreed to let us share their photos and stories to promote awareness and improve oral health equity for working individuals and families who have to neglect dental care because traditional costs are not possible on their income and budget.

Many of the patients featured below have received additional financial support from our Agape grant fund. Their dental care was made possible by our community supporting each other. Thank you for making a difference in these lives and more. We are restoring hope, health, and opportunity one smile at a time.

Esther's Story

A single mother of two children, Esther's life was a delicate balancing act of love, responsibility, and unwavering faith. With only one source of income to support her family and her ailing relative battling cancer, Esther knew that every penny counted.

With the Agape Grant Scholarship, she was given the gift of new dentures and a confident smile— a reminder that even the most selfless of souls deserve to be cared for and cherished.

Patricia's Story

At 62 years old, Patricia bore the heavy burden of her past— domestic violence, trauma, and the neglect of her health.

For two long years, Patricia endured the silent agony of tooth loss. Her ability to nourish herself and recover was restricted. The Agape Grant Scholarship was a lifeline of compassion and support to obtain a new set of dentures to reclaim her smile.
